Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is to teach children how to love learning. There is so much education can offer other than textbooks and memorization. School has taught me how to empathize with others, that we can learn from from mistakes, and has broadened my perspective in many aspects of life. I hope that I can reflect this towards my students in my teaching in the future. We all take so many things in life for granted that other people less fortunate would greatly appreciate. I strongly feel the need to emphasize how important education is and how lucky we are to have free education in the states, whereas other countries struggle to provide this necessity to its citizens. Learning doesn't have to be as rigid and structured as it has been in the past. We've come to a point in education where we can explore different ways of adapting student learning to the current atmosphere in society to make learning impactful and fun.

My goal is change perspectives on learning from this...

...to this!
